Operation Christmas Child

Join Our Trail Life Troop for the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party!

Let's come together to share the love of Jesus with children around the world! Our troop will be hosting its annual packing party for Operation Christmas Child, and we need your help to make it a success.

When: Monday, November 17th

Where: Concord Community Church, 7:00-8:00 PM

This is a wonderful opportunity for our Trailmen to participate in a hands-on service project with a global impact. You can contribute in several ways: bring items to pack, bring a fully completed shoebox, or do both!

How to Participate

1. Bring Supplies by Age Group

To ensure we have a great variety of gifts, we are asking families to bring items based on their son's troop level:

  • Foxes & Hawks: Games, toys, and a "wow" item!

  • Mountain Lions: School supplies

  • Navigators: Clothing items

  • Adventurers: Personal care items

2. Cover the Shipping Cost

Each shoebox requires a $10 donation to cover shipping, processing, and "The Greatest Journey," a discipleship booklet for the child receiving the gift. You can pay this fee in two ways:

  • Pay Online Beforehand: Pick up a scannable label at our next meeting to pay online and track where your box is sent.

  • Pay at the Event: Bring $10 cash per box or pay online during the party.

3. Add a Personal Note

A personal note is one of the most meaningful parts of the gift. Please have your son fill out a note sheet to include in each shoebox. You can also do this at the meeting!

Important Packing Rules - Please Read!

To ensure the boxes clear customs and reach the children safely, please remember what NOT to pack:

  • NO Candy or Toothpaste: These items are not permitted.

  • NO SOAP (New Rule!): As of this year, all types of soap (including bar soap) are no longer allowed due to changing international regulations.

For a full list of what to pack and other great ideas, please review the official OCC guide.

Thank you for your generosity. We can't wait to serve with you on November 17th!
